View Full Version : Would you get the Blizzak MZ-01s or the Dunlop Winter Sport M2? Jack 10-04-1999, 09:36 PM Arch57 10-05-1999, 05:04 AM I live in Central CT and roads get cleared real fast so 95% of the time I am on dry pavement and wanted to keep my performance up so I kept the 16" and went with the Dunlops. Check the archives, search for M2 and there are quite a few posts about their performance in snow and dry. If you live in a much harsher climate, the Blizzaks get rave reviews for snow/ice performance but you give up a lot on dry pavement. Best posting and checking the Ronal/Wheel forum. Arch57 99.5 2.8QMS (M2's on order...let it snow) BrianZ24 10-05-1999, 07:20 AM I live in Manchester, CT. Just purchased a 99.5 2.8QMS and had the sport wheels replaced with the all seasons. I'm hoping they will be OK in the CT winter. Last year I had an Accord V6 with all seasons, didn't have much trouble. I would think that all seasons with Quattro should be pretty nice improvment. Arch57 10-05-1999, 12:52 PM I live in Wethersfield and work in East Hartford. Having had rear-wheel drive cars for 23 out of my 25 driving years I wanted to "equip" my car with a performance snow tire so I could hop in during a real nor'easter and go about anywhere. I am sure the all-seasons would have been a good choice also. Gordon Martin 10-05-1999, 07:15 PM |
