Okay -- one week of life with allroad. MPG is 16. Has 450 miles and I have been driving conservatively during break -in. Had to punch it this AM out of the gas station and it took off... MOST gratifying, thank you. Loving the drive and feel of the car. Not impressed with the BOSE "Premium" stereo. 6-disc in dash is nice. Who has done some audio mods -- and what is the simplest improvement(s) to give me some better sound --bass response and overall presence?

bummer -- no hidden EQ on 2003's? can I "chip" my radio --heh,heh...

I replaced the front door speakers with Dynaudio separates driven by a separate amp. I left the rear doors and sub stock (Bose). Night and day difference in sound quality, base response and presence.

I think that I'll spend the money on the sound system versus the chip. Car seems plenty fast to me. ...thanks -- totally dig pooch. where do you sit when he drives?
