My first week of ownership has been great, 1200 miles later and 6 hours of driving in some pretty mean snow and I have to report that this car is awesome. Gas Mileage so far has been 19.2 and 20.8 as averages across the PA Turnpike.

I know that you can not really compare the coolest wagon on the planet to the best roadster on the planet, but my Audi family is complete. I have to admit that the Allroad does a better job in the twisties then the TTR does at moving the bulldogs.

I already received the weathertehch cargo mat (clair sent the wrong color black rahter then tan) and the all weather mats should be on their way.

Mods to come are:
Window tint everything but the front windows, (on my TTR this does not effect radio reception or V1 performance, should I expect the same in the AR.

APR chip, I have the X chip in the TT put I now like the idea of stock mode.

Clearbra, I can't deceided between invca shield or stongard as well as whast to get done, your comments would be appreciated.

I have a second V1 on order and I am trying to figure out the best place to mount it for a hardwire solution. Do most of you folks use the remote devicie? Pictures of install would be great.

I am glad that my break in is 90% my wife and I are so happy we "biggie sized" our order for an A4 3.0 liter avant.

I installed mine just left of the rear view mirror so that the front V1 sensor is just below the factory window tint stripe on the top on the windshield. Power for the V1 is available in several places. If you have the garage door opener installed then you can get power from the connection to the visor just inside the pivot area. Run the cable from inside the visor pivot (in the roofline) and out by the stalk of the rear view mirror. The power cable hangs down enough to connect to the V1 and without showing as it tucks in behind the mirror. You can get access easily by pulling on the roof console at the sun-roof control.
