This evening I pulled my wife's Passat into the garage and got out of the
car. As I was walking past the front I heard a strange whirring noise. I
opened the hood and saw coolant being pumped into the overflow tank. The
coolant stopped at the same time the noise did.

Has anyone heard of this? My A4 1.8T doesn't seem to have this and I would
think it would need it more.
