Does anyone know if the sympony(double din) can be retrofitted in the concert's place? thanks

Yes the concert has pre-outs, and can accomodate most amps. From what I am told, the Eclipse, and Sony amps seem to work best. I am also researching the alternatives to improving the sound system in my A4.

Anything is possible given enough $$$. Think about it for a minute though, you're going to need the headunit plus a whole bunch of center console pieces. I can't see the swap being very inexpensive. You're probably better off going with an aftermarket headunit. My $0.02..
