Can someone tell me how to change the low beam light bulbs on a 1997 A4. I opened up the housing behind the light bulb, but do not know how to get the light bulb out. I looked under the Headlights FAQ but didn't find anything. Help!! Thanks. In addition, what is the best light bulb to replace it with, and where can I order it on line? Thanks!!!!

If you got the clip holding the housing off, the difficult stuff is over. The clip is a little tricky, sort of a squeeze, pull down type action, but if you look in the manual and study the picture, it will help ... a little. Once you realize how to do it, then it's no problem
the bulb outlet just rotates and pops out, that's no problem at all.
I think the low beam bulb is called an h1? (That's from memory, I'm not sure). It was an oddball bulb, nobody at the car parts store in San Jose had one in stock. I went and bought one from the dealer for something like $18.
