Does the stock roof mounted antenna have cellular capabilities. Will it work with the dual band Nokia 6100 series hands free kit?

Yes,the antenna is compatible with the Nokia 6100 series hands free kit.

does it effect the radio performance? Who did your install?

Works very well and no effect on the radio. MCC wireless in So. Cal did the installation, 310-558-3322 ask for Michael.

I'm expecting to move soon and anticipate going from a 10 minute commute to an hour and 15 minute commute. So I'm _very_ interested in learning about install of a digital phone integrated w/ existing hands-free controls.

you can access the built in mic and speaker however I haven't heard of anyone being able to connect to the steering wheel controls

The 6160 car kit is in & I'm using the stock antenna. I'm on the Jersey shore & the phone's reception is performing better then it did out of the car. The installer, Euro Car in Red Bank, was able to hook up the mute so when I place or receive a call it automatically mutes the stereo. He used the external speaker & mic from the Nokia kit.
