Has anyone else had problems with the Delta radio?

1) My first repair/replacement was for the mode option. The cd would not come on, but the tape indicator would come on w/out a tape in the unit. Other times the cd would come on. Not a real problem but a intemittent one.

2) the next stereo would click several times after being powered up. The dealer again replaced the stereo under warranty.

3) Last week the just replaced unit would not shut off when the car was turned off. It had to be powered dowm manually. They are odering me another stereo under warranty.

The unit is built by Blaupunkt. It has been my impressions that Blaupunkts have always needed repairs. I have thrown away several units (not in this car) in the past in disgust.

I had problems with my unit too, but they were slightly different than yours.

I had the powering off issue but it was intermittent.

the automatic sound increase/decrease did not work at at.

In fact, occasionally, it increased the volume to its highest levels after leaving the highway.

I ditched it and put in a aftermarket setup
