Just ordered a silver 6 speed with convenience,premium,wheels,bose,changer,rear seat and sunroof. Just curious about delivery times, I've been told a January build date, and the dealer said 6 to 8 weeks. Is that realistic? Anybody else have delays or what not? Anxious for the car and trying not to set unrealistic plans for the car. My first post so bear with me.

I just ordered one Friday in California, Alpeca Beige w/ecru, and received a similar late January production date with delivery in early March, so it seems to be consistent.

I just ordered one right from the dealer's list. These are cars that the dealer has already ordered, with most already spoken for but a handful remaining that do not yet have buyers. Mine is a bit further down the list, and the salesman says it should go into production next week or the week after, with an expected delivery in mid-to-late January.

Another Seattle Audi Worlder had a 2.7T on the same boat and it took another week or so to turn up.

But it sure is worth the wait .....

I hope for a similar wait time as Dion. Mine was built around Nov. 15 and perhaps I'll take delivery in the first half of Jan. As far as I know (and I've been bugging the dealer for info.), it's not in the US yet.

My Alpaka Beige w/ ecru is either in production or is finished by now. Expect delivery in mid-January. I'll post some photos when it shows up.

That was about 7 weeks.

Thanks. I'll look forward to seeing the pictures. There apparently was some delay in the availability of the Alpeca beige color which didn't go into production until recently. My dealer wouldn't even let me order one until last week.
