Likes: Unique. Very fast. Refined. Roomy. Versatile.

Dislikes: Shallow cargo area. Occasionally jumpy ride. Low fuel economy.

How can I not agree with the likes. On the dislikes side. I see the cargo area as a standard wagon style with a enough room for my gear. The body style excludes carrying tall items.

I have not felt any jumpiness in the suspension at any level. In the low setting the allroad handles better than when my old A6 was stock. IMO any V6 A6 is severely under tired from the factory. My allroad at the lowest suspension setting is firmer than the sport package on the A6 2.7T and the 225/55-17 tires give it the extra meat on the road. Even with the 55 series aspect ratio, the tires don't seem to roll over much at all. I should go check my tire pressures.

On the fuel economy issue, I expected it to be less with the 280 lbs extra over the standard A6 Avant. I received 17 mpg on my first tank, 18 mpg on the second and it looks like it is doing just a little better on my third tank, all in mixed driving. The allroad with the Tiptronic does not do the auto shift into second in Tip mode either. I am driving the engine aggressively without over revving it and I expect my mileage to get better after the engine is fully broken in.

What kind of mileage are other people getting?

Just came back from 700 mile weekend. With a big pouch on the roof, in sub-30 degree temps, and averaging over 65mph, we got about 18 mpg. (finished trip with 1200 miles, and needed to add a quart of oil, as my dealer had predicted with the 2.7T)
