Will the dealer be able to PDI and deliver it right away? My dealer sometimes takes a couple days to PDI a fresh delivery of customer cars. I would be beside myself with anticipation.
The last new car I bought was a BMW 328i Sport when I was in the Army in Germany. They had a special factory program where the trucked it up from the factory and delivered it right to my Army Post. It had 5.0 miles on it. The exact amount of their post-assembly treadmill test. Very exciting.
I can't wait for my car. I wish I were getting it this week so I could try it out on the annual Thanksgiving road trip.

How can you stand the wait?? My 4.2 is on a truck somewhere between Houston and California and I'm dying. Future allroad must wait a few months (give or take a few) until the wallet recovers.

I was hoping that it would fold into the floor like I have seen in other wagons, but I guess that complicated suspension takes up too much room down there. I am not excited about removing/reinstalling the seat as needed. Hopefully it folds out of the way well enough to make space for (and protect itself from) two 45 pound dogs.

I may have had the first ar in the states. Got it from New Country Audi in Greenwich, CT, and will be bringing it in this Wed for the first oil change.
Mine has everything except the NAV and rear side air bags which I didn't want because I have children riding in the rear.
