I thought it was kind of cool when I read about it in a article.

I had dreams of doing a Baja trip again in a Allroad and the low gearing would of come in handy. But off-roading a $40k plus car would make me nervous.

I am bummed and will be furious if they decide to make this option available after delivery (Dec) of my 6-speed silver allroad!

As in: you're not afraid to take the thing offroad. There are supposedly reinforcement plates all over the car (that would explain the 4400+lbs weight). Everything is rock solid.
I'd take it over an SUV any day..
