here's my problem... sometimes when i'm driving or sitting in my car (with it on), i hear a rustleing noise. It sounds like a leaf, or some kind of paper is in the a/c duct. It's on the left side of my steering wheel, but i'd not exactly in my a/c. AND if i turn my a/c fan off when i hear the noise, it stops... then i can turn it back on, and it's not there.
if anyone has had this problem or knows what it is, please help me... it's just frustrating not knowing what it is.
thanks

I've got the same phenomena in my '96 too.
It's a relay located in the relaybox behind the fuses that is going nuts. It seems to be controlling the cooling fan for the A/C condenser because if I have the windows open I can hear the fan speed fluctuate when the relay starts bzzzng.
Turning the A/C compressor off and on or increasing the engine RPM takes care of it for a little while.
I had the relay switched when the car was was under warranty, but it didn't fix the problem.
I'm not worrying about it since everything seems to be working correctly and it only happens when the car is idling, never had it happen while driving.
