Took a drive up Mulholland Drive today. At one point, where the twisties got really tight, I was behind a black early-to-mid-90s S4 (no badge, just a guess) in my santorin blue A4, and coming at us from the other direction was another A4, laser red. The guy honked at us, and I honked back. That moment just made my weekend! :) Just wish I had a picture....

Wish I'd picked your route then! I take my Santorin Blue 98.5 on Mulholland, PCH, Decker Cnyn, Kanan...a real blast, except I always seem to get stuck behind a beat-up station wagon or pickup going just fast enough that he doesn't feel compelled to pull over and let me by...10mph slower than the A4 wants to go. It is a bummer to have such an enjoyable-to-drive car, and not be able to escape the crowded roads and rude drivers.

I'd love to have time to getaway from LA more often, but it's just hard to do. Thanks for the post, better times will come, I'm sure!
