Sometimes when I'm driving on the freeway at night, I'll pass someone and then look in my rear view mirror to see the guy I just passed angrily flashing his high-beams at me like he thinks I'm driving with my high-beams on.

I know the lights are bright, but I know they're pointed downwards. Has this happened to anyone else?

...headlights are bright! I can't see a thing with them, and have never been flashed. What year is your A4? The '99.5's up have different headlights that are supposedly much brighter than the older ones. I wouldn't worry about it.

Ever had a car with Xenons following you on a bumpy road? The A6 seems to be one of the biggest offenders, but the bumps make the lights appear to be strobing from blue to white to blue, etc., and at first it's like having a cop behind you with his lights on. Xenons are very annoying and distracting to me, but they sure are great when you're driving the car they are on!

I have been flashed MANY times by people who think I am flashing them. Once a huge FORD P.O.S. Explorer swerved into my lane very purposefully. I can only guess they were annoyed by the lights because I was NOT driving aggressively. That is....until he swerved then I hit triple digits and got the hell out of there!
