I wanted to race real people through the playstation network but I keep getting a host connection error. My xbox reads "open NAT" but my ps3 shows "NAT type 2" so I'm not sure if it's a problem with my router or if it's the playstation server that is fvcked. Oh well, great racing game so far though, but damn it's going to take a lot of work to earn 2 million credits to purchase Kimi Raikonnen's F2007 car. JustAdam 04-18-2008, 01:42 PM Question is when? Well after a bit of searching I found two ways to see everything video, audio, and picture related. On my Macs. I purchased MediaLink for $20. Installed a preference pane on my Mac, set the share points and now I can see all of my volumes and content from my PS3. Movies stream smoothly even over "G" raed WiFi. The only slowdown or skip occurred while downloading a demo on the PS3 at the same time I was watching a movie. You can also stop a movie and return to it at the same location. I'm sure it I had the PS3 wired to my router it would not be an issue. The only negative I have so far is the photo viewing wants to use iPhoto. I use Aperture. MediaLink by Nullriver There is also a free way to do this but I like being able to click a button more than running several command lines to get things going. How-to: Stream media to a PS3 from a Mac optimus prime 04-20-2008, 09:24 AM as long as you are using the correct media type browser on the PS3 optimus prime 04-20-2008, 12:23 PM Mike@PNS 04-21-2008, 04:17 AM Mike@PNS 04-21-2008, 04:20 AM Mike@PNS 04-21-2008, 04:49 AM |
