While I'm there, what are THE places I need to check out while visiting? Food, fun, etc.
I'm 26 years old and am visiting a friend in the Linkin Park area of Chicago. Since I'm a native New Yorker, I'd love to try out some good "Chicago style" pizza so I can really see which one is better...NY or Chicago style. Any recommendations?
I'd also like to do some sight-seeing. Other than Wrigley Field, is there anything else that's a must see? Obviously my friend will also be showing me around, but I wanted get your take, too.
Also, I may be looking for a job there, too. So if any of you are involved in commercial real estate, let me know!
Thanks!

basically it comes down to good places to eat and drink. The last time I was there I checked out Weber Grill and some famous popcorn place on Michigan -- thought both were cool.

j/k... Lou Malnati's or Geno's East are very good representations of Chicago pizza. Don't bother with Giordano's... it's a national chain now, and their pizza has gone WAY down hill.
Check out the Museums... Field Museum and The Museum of Science and Industry are both very cool.
Take a walk down Michigan Avenue and see all the cool stores. Millenium Park is okay. Navy Pier is okay I guess if you're a tourist, but it's kinda cheezy.
