I was a little disappointed in the Porsche exhibit; nothing really there that peaked my interest. I also was underwhelmed by the new Subie WRX - not attractive at all (although some can debate whether it was attractive to begin with)

The Audi section was nicely laid out and they had an S5 available to sit in which was nice.

The M3 sedan and coupe were there for viewing; they looked good to me.

CTS-V just doesn't have that "it" factor. I know they gussied up the interior and put more hp/torque in it, but it just seems blah to me.

Big crowds around the GT-R and it looked mean. Funny how the presenter said it will be available this summer for just less than $70 - yea right. Better include a $20k markup with that IF you're lucky enough to get an allocation.

That is all.....

Went for the preview event and was underwhelmed. Chicago needs to receive international status to get manufacturers involvement similar to Detroit. I understand a plan is currently being implemented to rotate the international show around the country between Detroit, Chicago and New York.

The exhibit costs at Detroit were rumored at over $200 MM this year. Looking around Chicago, and I think that you will agree, that Chicago exhibitor costs are much lower. There were fewer members of the press in Chicago this year than in recent years as very few model introductions occurred.
