<a href="http://www.audichicago.org">audichicago.org</a>

As you will see, we have made some changes around there. We have a new look and feel, and we have attempted to update and add some features that will improve your experience here.

We have tried to improve the look and feel with a new layout. We have updated all the pages, and we hope you find it easier to get around.

We have also added a couple new features, like classified ads and direct credit card processing (no more paypal!)

You also might notice a few things are missing. Currently member rides is offline as we finish that up. And event results are also going under the knife. But they will all come back, and they will also have a few improvements.

We have a few more tricks up our sleeve, so stay tuned. In the meantime, there is the chance that we missed something in testing. So you you find a bug or encounter an error, please drop a line to our <a href="mailto:webmaster@audichicago.org">webmaster </a> (me) and let me know so we can fix it. Feel free to also send him suggestions, likes, dislikes, etc and we see what we can do.

Enjoy the new site, we are pretty excited about it!

moving forward!

Any reason you guys did not use .asp or any other language, just curious as to why .php was chosen, not that it matters, just wanted to know what is being planned for the future - usually I think thats why one language is chosen over another.

I am not sure, but I think we might have some mutual friends, do you know anyone that used to teach web design/programming at Wright college? It was literally about 7-8 years ago and it might be the owner of a company you know of or work for - not sure if its the same one though.

I use php over most others primarily because I know it, it scales well, it is decently fast, it works on nearly all common shared hosting platforms, it is versatile and capable, and I know it.

my business parter, whose deserves just as much thanks for this site as I do, is a great programmer, and he knows asp too. he used to work at a microsoft centric company... so it could have been ASP I guess...

currently, my partner and I run a web development company called mk2 development. We are relatively new on the scene, and we haven't finished our marketing stuff yet, but we are getting there.

it might have been someone else then, no biggie.

Looks as though you guys really thought this out, and I am proud to know you, once again, great job.
Great planning, great code, great design, and if that is not enough, you seriously pulled it off with style.

Even though I do not own an Audi any more, I might be buying another someday, and I always appreciate the people :)
