turning the steering wheel hard, either direction? I have no squeaks or rattles except this annoying little sound, which happens only when I crank on the steering wheel. I got the normal "could not duplicate" crap from the dealer at 5K service (are they deaf or just lazy? I'm guessing lazy).

Anyway, is there something that may need to be lubricated in the steering mechanism somewhere? I guess you could call it a little "creaking noise" but it actually sounds more like a click. Not a groan at all. And it is coming from inside the cabin, not out.

Any help appreciated ....

I hear it when I turn the wheel hard to the left in the mornings and sometimes throughout the day. But, to me, it sounds like a rubbing-creaking noise, almost as if there is some strain on the front wheels.
