Its that time again to humbly ask you guys if you know anyone hiring new lawyers. I passed the bar last summer and have been working merely on and off since then... It kindof sucks.

I don't post here much but thought i'd take the chance to introduce myself. I've been in Chicago four years, I know alot of you from guys from AWOT but I see there are many more here who don't venture over to the dark side.

I mostly don't post here cause I got no mawds and feel like a poser. I definitely want to hit up some track events as soon as I get (a job and) a fairly track worthy car.

Thanks AWC!

P.S. I heard Eric@PNS got engaged? Grats YFF, don't you owe me drinks? = )

I've used many rentals before and while not as rewarding as say a porsche, you still learn a lot.

BTW, what spefic field of law are you looking at?

The ttronic makes me sad, wish I had an extra pedal but I'm sure I could learn alot at the track.

I'm interested in predominantly civil litigation (tort/insurance, contract, family law) but I'm open to other areas.

and countless Auto-X's. Quite frankly I've had my head full of proper line, steering input and braking so gear selection was the farthest thing from my mind (like Hops said a couple of years ago - "Keep it in Drive"). It was only last ABCC ADD that I ventured into paddle flipping.

Much was learned (and much fun was had) at every event

I just started at McDermott Will & Emery as a new associate. I'm not familiar with the process for hiring laterals, but if you're interested in the firm, send me your resume and I'll pass it along to Recruiting/HR.

MWE's website
