This should keep me busy until I make up my mind on whether I want an EVO, E36 M3, 135i or a 350Z for a next year.

It's a Springfield Armory XD-40 chambered in 40 cal. I was looking at Glock(didn't feel "right" in my hand)and a SIG(to much for my budget). So ended up with this.

Besides the obvious home defense use, the main reason for my purchase was to start entering into IDPA events(shooting simulated "real world" self-defense scenarios). If anyone ACCCCCCCCCCer's ever want to go to a range, I'm game.

I personally felt more comfortable with the recoil of the .40

all the knockdown power of the 45 with less recoil....should have looked at the new beretta or the s&amp;w....excellent choice though
