Definitely left turbo that blew. Still waiting for Roadside Assistance to come get me (what's that, about 4 hours now?) Damn, I wish it was you that was going to fix the car and not a dealer that maybe sees 2 allroads a year. At least it's Assured.
Oh, and thanks for your advice when I called you from the side of the road here in PA. Customer Service at it's best.

Not sure how that's gonna fly now. Unless there's a way to convince this little PA dealer to substitute K04's under Audi Assured or Pure Protection ( I have both overlapping until May '08). But it would be nice, and I'd bet I'd have less problems in the longrun too.

...experience with Audi Roadside (non)assistance when I had a flat with a shredded tire and no way to remove the wheel on the NW Tollway a few years back. Waited and waited, and then they finally called back to say that they couldn't get anybody to come out!!! Noice! Not!
It can't be a coincidence that they just signed an agreement with a new provider:<ul><li><a href="http://www.fourtitude.com/news/publish/Industry_Tuner_News/article_3438.shtml">Link courtesy of some OTHER Audi website:</a></li></ul>

to come get me, I found my own rollback. Turns out they call a local guy here in this little hamlet and offered the guy $2 per mile to get my car, when the going rate is 3 to 3.50. How do I know? I called the same guy from the yellow pages while I was sitting here waiting. He was pissed that Road America low balled him like that and as a result wanted nothing to do with helping me either. So Roadside's non-assistance is costing me $900 because they couldn't find anyone to come get me. And I can't wait until tomorrow with my dad back in the hospital, which is the whole reason I'm on the road. I'm ready to just unload the allroad and get a Lexus or Acura at this point. Dad is in bad shape in the hospital and I'm sitting in no-where's ville PA waiting for a rollback to rescue me.

.. and your family for your dad's health. I really feel for you, and I know just what you're going through, because I was there, too, almost exactly 1 year ago.
I'm truly sorry for your troubles, my friend.
Call me when you have a moment, if you like.

It was Sewickley Audi that did me in for a battery and charged me $500 after having the TT flatbedded to them from a TT event in Cumberland, MD. Hell, the dealer would not even unload the TT because it was dropped 1", yet it had been loaded and unloaded twice at another dealer.
Good Luck.

knows my family and the friendship goes back 40+ years. Just don't know how much they know about doing turbos in these cars. Guess we'll find out. But I definitely didn't want to go to Sewickley.
