If you don't have a lift I hope you have a tranny jack. If you don't, buy one, rent one, borrow it...it will make it 10x easier.

One more tip, make sure your clutch is aligned properly.

I don't know if A4's have ProCon-10 cables, but if they do, don't forget to attach them. If you drop the transmission and replaced a clutch yourself I think you'll have no problems putting it back in.

I'd help but I've spent last 7 months in the garage. Its time for me to drive a little;-)

Thanx a lot buddy I got a hydraulic jack my buddy put the clutch on his chest and its aligned the right way we just can't get the trans in
