I'm not going to hold my breath for the avant version to make it over here. I only want the avant but I have a feeling we will only get the sedan.

Avant most likely ain't gonna happen, but one can hope and like I said, I'll settle for the saloon if need be.

It might be a while but it'll happen. Current statements by Audi saying the RS6 won't be sold in the US (obscurely only really referring to the avant), is if anything their way of not upstaging the current RS4 which US dealers still have a bunch to sell until supplies are gone, not to mention a handful of V10 S6 sedans still waiting for owners at dealers' lots. Once the RS4's stay has expired in the US limelight, the RS6 sedan will be announced for the US market near the end of the C6's life cycle. At least, that's what I think.

It's still a damn shame there's little chance of the Avant coming. Damn shame.

ready for a really good car on the track as oppossed to my fast whale and really excited about the R8 in the flesh...we will see if the new RS will get my juices flowing. Depends on if i feel like i have enough funds to keep the RS6 running after the warranty goes...I don't see myself clobbering my finances with two new beasts and i do need something bigger than an R8 for daily fun driving.
