I ended up riding back to the Twin Cities, from northern Minnesota, in the cab of a flatbed truck bringing back my A4 to the dealership.

Ten miles after leaving a church reteat up north, my engine began hesitating. the engine light was on, so I pulled over. The engine had trouble idling and was making some random clicking sounds. (The oil level was fine). My guess is a shot alternator, but, I guess I'll find out Monday.

The best thing, my mileage is 50,100 miles!!

When I finally get the car back I'll give the complete details. However, they need to keep the car overnight to get a part. So far, the tip of a sparkplug broke off and destroyed a coil pack or something. There may be more damage, they don't know, yet. But we're looking at at least $600 (at my expense due to having 50,100 miles).
