The old car was great on many levels, so I am trying to judge the new one on its own merits.

The new car has more weight, but that's not to say it feels heavy. 225 width is too narrow. I will be going with 255/40/17.

The power is similar to the old car with a smoother delivery. The six speed is a must have that I really enjoyed. However, the short shifter needs some adjustment because it doesn't like to downshift to second. The pedals are too far apart for the blip and I will have to address that.

The Big Reds are nothing short of amazing. I was at 100 even at the end of the front straight and consistently braking at the 1 marker. I can't wait to try some really burly pads.

The handling was excellent for a stock suspension. The chassis is rigid and much better than the B5. There was just a hint of understeer, but it wasn't on initial turn in and wasn't annoying. That said, i'd like a big rear bar to get some more rotation. ESP was useless to me and I had to remind myself to turn it off. The spring and shocks are very well matched and I'm not sure that I will mess with that until they sag. I did like the coilovers you put on your car.

I miss my cloth sport seats as I now have leather ones with much less bolster. I have not yet figured out how to install my harnesses in the new car, so I was struggling to keep my meat in the seat. In my peripheral vision, I could see my passenger moving laterally toward me and away from me while cornering.

My AC is stinky when it first kicks on.

The bigger back seat is much better.

The audible seat belt warning signal is the most annoying thing in the world. Please kill it.

Next week, you're it. I look forward to visting you again.
