What an impressive machine to behold in person! Sat inside and was treated to one of the nicest interiors I've ever sat in (supercars included). Somehow ended up chatting with someone who referred to himself as the dealership's R8 specialist (which he certainly seemed to be considering our conversation and the amount of technical information he knew about the car). He went on about the process of acquiring one and about submitting a letter of intent etc.... one thing led to another and looks like I'll be in line for one. Not for a while though, probably even an '09 model considering the low predicted allocations. Oh and huge thanks to entire staff at the service department and thanks for the loaner. Continental rocks! This will be be my new dealership of choice for sales and service.

damn! Need to get in line myself for one in 09. Leaning that direction too once certifed warranty on the RS is history in 09.

My full endorsement also for Continental's service, been my choice for almost two years. Enjoyed the Q7 loaner I had for the week. Thanks to Robyn, Tim, Matt for my continued satisfaction. Loooonnngggg drive from downtown but worth it too me.

it's a pretty awesome car. Amazing how seeing one in person and sitting inside it has quickly changed my sentiments towards a car. I've been known to be an "R8 hater" but I'll have to eat any negative words I've said about the car in the past for now. Perhaps a chance to drive one at the upcoming Audi Driving Experience will demonstrate ability that backs up the beauty, and eventually lead to my ruin :)

Well, I wasn't allowed to start it or drive it or anything, but the seat fit very well.

Thanks Tim, Russ & Robin for another outstanding service visit. Continental rocks.

My future vehicular plans are starting to gel...
