View Full Version : Looking for a fun weekend get-away within a reasonable driving......

.... distance (less than 5 hours).

The catch is I need to find something that will amuse me, the wife, and a 2.5 year old.

I started looking into cottage rentals in Michigan but most seem to be a week minimum or they are waaaay up there.

Any ideas?

... somewhere so Alex can do the beach thing (he loved it in Bermuda).

He's a little too young still so we're limited on what we can do. We talked about flying somewhere but it's way too big of a pita just for a weekend....

You can drink while Dawn cleans our house or works in the yard.

Best part is it's a very reasonable cost to you...

is going to MI with the boys but my daughter is coming with me Saturday at ABCC. Hopefully, my "home track" experience will give me an edge with the NASA speed demons!

The door to the woodshop can be locked from the outside. Alex will totall enjoy playing with all the power tools.
