We also fired off tons of pics of the TJR logo on the Stasis Audi as well. In all, an awesome weekend!!! larryV 06-11-2007, 10:08 AM The Turtle 06-11-2007, 11:02 AM I'll have to check again at end of July. larryV 06-11-2007, 11:32 AM but you'll sometimes see joints with signs like "we only use high quality sahlen's hot dogs" or something like that. I'm surprised you haven't heard of them because Sahlen's is headquartered in Buffalo, NY and has been around since 1869.... it's kinda like what Nathan's hot dogs is to Coney Island, NY (official hot dog for hot dog eating contest). For example, if you go to Wegmans or even a wholesaler like Sam's Club in buffalo and go to their processed meat section, it will be dominated by the Sahlen's brand because it's a local favorite. But go to a Sam's Club here in Chicago and there is no Sahlen's to be found because we have Vienna Beef. Personally, Sahlen's > Vienna Beef. I have my sister bring me some frozen in bulk everytime she visits in the summer. Good sh1t. Mike S 06-11-2007, 06:07 PM under TJR sponsorship (no kidding!) through next year! Ian was ill all weekend (stomache flu) and was actually throwing up every time before he got in a car (three races, tons of practice and qualifying in two cars) and when he got out. Still, he had a pretty good weekend. Randy set a motorsports record by winning EVERY (three) race a series had to offer. Two in his Mazda Speed Touring Car and one in his Speed GT Porsche. TJR was prominently recongined by Randy on each and every podium, on TV, to the written press, etc. Ian's STaSIS Audi now runs LARGE TJR livery, as do all drivers helmets and Mark White's IMSA lites car as well! A good time was had by all. Much quality wine was consumed, along with top level food, etc. D2, Scott D and of course, Janica herself were awesome and a good time was had by all. Keep your eyes out for more TJR sponsorship of major proportions in the future! Mike S |
