I'm signed up for June 4 at ABCC, my first time on a track (apart from Charlotte Motor Speedway, but that's another story). So I'll be out with the other noobs.

At this level of competence, what do you advise for minimum mods (brakes/pads, sway, etc.) for track day prep beyond what's in my "sig" list?

The reason I'm asking is that I'm trying to get out of the TT in favor of an S4 in the next few months, so major things like suspension/wheels prolly aren't in the current car's budget.

Or should I punt and just rent a go-kart?

good instruction and experience. Audi Driving Schools are an excellent tool.

boiling point).

You can go with the Valvoline synthetic fluid (it's cheap and works well) or you could go up to Motul(which is probably overkill, IMO).

There is nothing that can ruin a track day more than a mushy brake pedal.

I drove the Passat several times last year and it is bone stock: all seasons, non-sport suspension, auto etc...
