I am looking for a supplier for the OBD-II/RS232 cable. I've noticed that some of the available cables are the thick printer-type which are a PITA. I am looking for a thin 4-6' long mouse/DCC-type cable.

As a software developer, I am just curious about the whole thing. I want to try out the software that is currently available, including some interesting source code I've gotten from Germany. For now, all I am going to do is study the ISO 9141 specification, hook up a laptop and try to understand how it all works.

if you want it, I'll sell it to you for $20 plus shipping costs. I think I paid $60 for it. I never used it. The pins are wired straight through. If you want a picture of it, I'll send you one. Let me know.
