is that what the big girl is running? I'm assuming these would probably last a little longer than the goodyear F1's that I chunked at bhf.
I also noticed that Mr.President was running these tires on his A4 and after a session riding shotgun, I was very impressed with them.
Anyone else care to comment about these tires?
They are damn cheap from discount tire at $181 for 255/40/18.... hard to resist...

Yes there are better track tires, but none of them will last that long and are as suited to my budget. To me, they are a killer street tire with a tread wear rating of 80. My current set will last me the rest of the season and into next year. I will buy them again.
Matt at Discount in Naperville is a great guy and he has taken real good care of a bunch of Audi owners I know.

Albeit running on a 2700# car. I run 195-65/14's and have logged almost 2000 track miles and the tires are about 85% worn.
At a whopping $42 each, they are a bargin. (larger sizes are a pinch more).

BHF was my first run with the 615's and they are much better than the F1's since they have a stiffer sidewall and are rated for the S4. I still like the F1's for the street though. Very good wet traction. I have heard the 615's get a little slippery when it rains.
Give Mark Roberts a call at the discount tire in Homer Glen he will hook you up.
