got my notice in the mail the other day. have two months before my current license expires.

I've had mine renewed a couple times since, at least, 21. I've never had to take a test. Just got the latest renewal in Libertyville on May 25th for my 30th b-day.

No test.

Go on a Thursday after 4. In and out.

i didn't really read the letter yet, but no, i haven't had a ticket in about 4 years.

And my record was technically spotless at the time. Its something like 30 questions done on a computer. Its easy and I was in and out of the libertyville DMV in 30 minutes.

IE they moved to the graduated license system... so perhaps it is an age thing?
