I'm travelling to Chicago (first time) this week and I'm going to be taking the Blue Line from O'Hare to the Washington transfer in the Loop, then the Red Line north to Grand.

I'm just curious how long this trip on the rail is going to take.

I'll be attending an options trading expo on Thursday and Friday, then a White Sox game Saturday night. Look for me and my girl wearing all our Yankees gear at the game!

Thanks guys.

When the wife and I lived in Pilsen, we decided to take public transport to the Stouffer for our company Christmas party. #8 to blue line, blue line to Lake. We get down the blue line ramp @ Halsted and there's a guy w/ his back to us w/ w weird look on his face. We thought he was cold because he was shaking but noooo. He was polishing his knob! That plus waiting for the #8 at Halsted and 17th where a guy walks out of a bar with his unit hanging our spraying piss everywhere made for an interesting beginning to our evening.

she had no idea what I was talking about.

"What's that?"

"It's a spicy relish with peppers, oil, some veggies in it"

"You want relish?"

*sigh*... she had no clue.

Every restaurant up there has a Friday night fish fry yet if you ask for malt vinegar they look at you crooked. "Vinegar? Do you mean tartar sauce." Now I bring my own.
