Here is the link to VW's quicktime interior of the GTI VR6. This is a lot better than I could do in the rain with my little digicam. My car also has the factory in-dash cd player in the slot just above the radio. The interior of the car is quite nice!

so i ask again .. factory in dash cd in your 99.5? can it be? that would be great! or did i miss someting? there doesnt seem to be enough room in the 99.5's to accomondate the 00 in-dash cd/tape console.

Gee, I seem to have created a lot of confusion here. I posted below a comparison of my 99.5 A4 1.8Tqms versus my '00 GTI VR6. Apparently, because I said I liked the Audi's interior better there was a demand for pictures. To clarify, the AUDI has onyx leatherette with graphite aluminum trim. I think that this is the new "ambition" interior but its hard to tell because I have '99 brochures and a "99.5 car. There is no provisio for an in-dash CD in this car as with all '99.5 cars. I was merely pointing out that the VW does have this available as an option.
