View Full Version : Thoughts on We'll Clean? I think they are a ripoff...

$26 for wash & armor all -- interior was supposedly done, but I still had dust on my console, they didn't wash the metal underneath my side flares very well, and it took about 40 minutes and there were only 3 cars in front of me...

Will pay nearly half the price and go to my trusty washes on Division/Oakley and Halsted/Grand. (And spend 20 minutes max!)

... wash your own cars or, if lazy (like me sometimes), We Wash III on Halsted does a decent hand wash job if you SUPERVISE them like an eagle and scream "no armor all"...

which is way too far to get a detail for some people.

But then other people have come from the south side to get a full detail, I guess it depends on the person and how much they care about what they drive and how it looks.

$8 will get you a decent hand car-wash. I also go to Bert's on Ogden/Grand. Bert's isn't the best wash, but for $8, clean is better than dirty!

The worst part is routing the antenna wire. I put mine underneath the rear deck and routed the wire from the there to the unit.

Did you get wiring harnesses with yours?

Just asking because I did not. I needed to undo all of harnesses and basically make my own connections. It was a bit of a pain in the butt. You can get harnesses that will make install almost plug and play.

i just never had pulled my headunit before. also it will take 5 mins to make some smaller details come true via the VAG.

if you absolutely have to have it done somewhere, do the bare minimum (just get the car cleaned/vacumned)
