I'm trying use 8mm spacers with my steel rims. The stock lug nuts only turns about 4 1/2 turns. Is there any place local where I can get the correct length lug nuts as I need them by this weekend.

on my MM spiders they only turned ~2 1/2 turns...I was worried about them not being long enough, until after many calls to realize that they'd be fine...

plus if your lugs are too long they'll lock rotor/hub and you won't go anywhere...

no disrespect to you, shrtbus(less), but I thought the minimum was 7&1/2

Yeah, that's what I thought. 7 & 1/2 full turns. I did some search on the forums and that what's I found out. I'll try to find the post I saw previously.

everyone has them as winter wheels...I bought them used (of course), and was told they use the OEM lugs...

tried putting one on and thought the lugs HAD to be too short...called TR...

Yes, that's what I'm showing...if the wheel has a conical seat, then use the OEM lugs...really early models used a different seat...

I'm just worried because I feel that they don't bolt into the hub enought...

well if you go any longer than the OEM lugs, the hub will lock...

I used them for two seasons with no wheels falling off...dean traded in his car without the wheels falling off...everybody and their brother on this forum has used the same set up without the wheels falling off...so, I think the lugs were long enough...

but luke has now chimed in and said 6 full turns...who knows?

Who knows. I aint got the car anymore.
