Appeal of the stock Audi unit would be that it would match the red dash lighting and be the right size.

Would have to check the catalogs near the release date (our distributor doesn't carry all of their products always)... Garmin.com says it will be released in Jan'06, as you say.

Need to replace my forerunner 201, which was stolen (along w/ a million other valuable contents) w/ my purse. :( Never got around to downloading a years worth of data, b/c we were just getting a PC laptop (were sent the wrong model, and have been trying to exchange w/ Overstock which is a nightmare also in itself).

I'm pissed. I'm addicted to the thing too, went for a run and kept reaching for my wrist and getting upset all over again... sigh.

hate to ask, how'd their return policy get you? we've been double charged while they get their #%@^ straightened, and trying to get the refund is like pulling teeth... :-\

i'm not sure how our prices compare to those... i'll find out soon, when i get my 201 again...
