i was comparing my options and between sds and autronic, sds seemed to fit my needs and my budget. we'll see how well it works.

Not sure how it would work on the 1.8T, but it will be great on the 8v.

But I can't talk about it because my A4 will spontaniously combust in protest.

was just looking at NAMotorsports.
do you have the plate that goes in that space where the euro plate goes? and what about the rieger side vents? is it ABS plastic or fiberglass. if ABS, i'd like to come check it out!!

the whole bumper is ABS plastic. I trimmed out the plate area for my intercooler but could be filled again by your bodyshop that would paint it.

but i shot a picture of the bumper to my friend who owns 12 body shops in the chicagoland area 4 of which are pro shops. and this was his reply to filling it.

"No you really cannot fix something like that. I guess you could if it was the last one on earth but it would be cheaper to buy a new one by the time itâ€TMs all said and done."

I trust his opinion he's been in business a long time and his family has been in it even longer. so if you have some guys @ McGrath that are willing to patch it and it comes out good...you got yourself a buyer. if not i'm going to have to pass. appreciate the offer though.
