the first one died after 6 months - half the digital channels were messed up. The second one died this week after only a month - the hard drive started making screeching sounds. The one I got today looks like a newer version, the 6214 Phase III. It has an HDMI connection vs. DVI on the older boxes.

I also get a discount with my association dues. I only pay about $110 for 1 DVR box, 1 HD box, HBO, Showtime, SkinaMax and high speed internet.
