I was driving at about 45mph when I decided to shut down the air conditioner and open the roof up. I had all the windows closed and the roof opened all the way.

This really loud (and painful) resonance filled the entire car. The entire car felt like it was shudderring. Anyone else have this happen?

Any solutions?

or crack the back windows a bit.

It seems to only happen in my car (99.5 1.8T) when I have the back seats down. It must create more of a "wind tunnel." Once I put my seats back up, it doesn't resonate at any speed.
