I'm flying to SF from LA to pick up my wife's Y2K silver A4 Avant 1.8T (sport susp., sport seats) tomorrow morning to drive it back on the PCH!

A week ago suggested to carOrder to give me the money they pay to deliver the car from Rector Motor Car Co. in Burlingame (dealer with whom they do business in CA) to my address, to me instead and that I'll pick it up myself.
They said no problem and that they'd do the flight arrangements as well.
In the end I booked the flight myself because it was on a very short notice. I've learned only this morning that the car will be ready tomorrow morning.
I'll let you know if I have any problems to get reimbursed for the trip by carOrder.

The car was ordered as a '99 model on May 19th, 1999.

make such a long trip on a non broke-in car?? I know to vary the speed etc during break-in period , but what about running it hot continuously for such long number of hours: 8-10-12)?? Or better to stop and cool down every hour, but that will make a very long trip...
Thanks for advice
