I'm now thinking about sitting @ home for thanksgiving instead of driving to St. Louis. That's be potentially suicidal.

A buddy of mine is driving back home (central IA) right now . . . he just called to tell me it's snowing like a MOFO out west (Freeport - Dubuque).

So I'm hoping it's a typical <i>"scare them so they tune in to our station"</i> news ploy. OTOH I was shocked to see IDOT salt trucks cruising around this morning in Glenview (damn the salt trucks!)

If not, the steelies go on tomorrow I suppose...

the M is solid in the snow with the right tires. You should be able to find a set of used OEM 18's and avoid the whole steelie thing like I did.

M2s &amp; Ohlins, This should be interesting. I'll be running the steel wheels untill I get my tax refund, then I will put them on the stockers. Getting light weight 17s with the refund. :-]

on mine also...the front bumper was not "cut" right from the mold....so they did it by hand....excellent job and I would recommend them 100%...very professional.....are you going to their house or to the shop?

yea i was sent there by my buddy Viga at Laurel BMW (if u need a BMW talk to his man, happiest person i have ever met) he said he does the finest work around. Pretty cheap also. I will definitely say that u said hello, who do i say is saying hello though. Weird sentence. Well yeah, the car its leaving the garage until Friday, i hope its sunny either tomorrow or Friday so i can wash the thing before it take it over. Hey do you leave in the area, i live in on the Hinsdale and Burr Ridge border, so his shop is extremely close.

I am ordering a stage 3 clutch &amp; unorthodox flywheel from South Bend Clutch Friday &amp; taking it to vfc-engineering for the repair after I receive the clutch.
