Thanks for a wonderful afternoon. It was a blast! Also thanks to Mike W. for giving me a few spins around the track. TonyPNS 08-19-2003, 08:40 AM Lugnuts, you sick bastards! Glad you made it out. Sign up for the Oct. 11th autocross! gription 08-19-2003, 09:31 AM Don't worry about the DNF's, you weren't alone in that department. You'll get better at it with more practice. The important thing is that you had a good time. Good choice for instruction, they don't get any better than Mike W.! Mike is so good at autocross, his car yields great times even when he's not driving it. Sign-up for the October autocross at Tire Rack, it promises to be a hella good time. goldfishhh 08-19-2003, 10:50 AM I'm always happy when some torqes my nutz. ;) Dude, totally fun time! I'm absolutely going to sign up for the gig at TireRack. I may even pop for pair of 4-point belts. My sides, knees and legs were all banged to hell after that day. I simply have to keep my butt affixed to the seat. Does anyone have any recommendations? I've looked at Simspon, Sparco and Schroth. All look to have their benefits. I just want the one that is easiest to install for Autocross and remove for street driving. skabaru 08-19-2003, 03:08 PM goldfishhh 08-19-2003, 05:37 PM Got any pics or any hints on installation? i have read the FAQ's and with manual seats it looks pretty straight forward. I dunno where a bar would come into play. I suppose on the head rest? goldfishhh 08-19-2003, 05:40 PM I suppose when I say "Stealth", I mean culling my wifes fears that I am "throwing money away". If I install a harness, can I easily set it up and take it down at the track? I suppose I would easily stow it under the back seat. Stealth, follow me? skabaru 08-19-2003, 07:47 PM

http://homepage.mac.com/skabaru/PhotoAlbum2.html</a

skabaru 08-19-2003, 07:49 PM boosted has the sedan one... stableenergies.com you can see on my pics that I have eyelets, and the belts snap into the eyelets... your wife would only see those... but you should be able to convince her that your safety is in her interest... unless you have a huge life insureance policy.... skabaru 08-19-2003, 10:47 PM |
