Depends on what you think is exciting. There is admittedly little elevation change. The track surface is in very good condition, a LOT better than Blackhawk, but that's not really saying much. It's most similar to Gingerman, of all the tracks in the midwest. It's got great run-off room. Some interesting camber in the turns. Visibility is excellent- nearly the entire track can be seen from the pit tower. Their site is www.putnampark.com

Applications so far have been (ahem) scant, so I suspect there will be a reduced number of run groups, i.e. a LOT of track time.

The hotel rooms are reserved for another two weeks, so now would be a good time to sign up.

About 150 miles, give or take. The track is just west of Indy. See the the welcome packet on the site for directions to the hotel and track. Briefly: take I-65 to Lafayette, then shortcut south via US-231 south through Greencastle.
