Bitch Session 101 -

In my opinion Brian is extremely rude, unwilling to answer questions and only cares for that short time the money exchanges hands.

Not that money is the only factor, but I spent close to $3,000.00 at this place and expect better service then he gives. I wanted to establish a "relationship" with a tuner.

You mentioned DubWerks! It's kind of far for my, but I am willing to drive the distance if I can receive some type of acknowledgement when I walk thru the door. I want to be able to go to someone when I have a question about a product / mod and can lead me in the direction I want to go with my car.

Can I assume that DubWerks is decent? Any there any other tuners in the area?

I chose DubWerks as my tuner for several reasons:

1. they are the closest one to Milwaukee.

2. Rich (the owner) is a great guy. Takes his time to answer your questions, support you, make sure you know what you need to know.

3. They are a GIAC dealer, and that's what I wanted for my TT.

My experience w/ Dub Werks only goes back a couple weeks now, but what I can tell you is that they are very conscientous in the way they run their business, and you can tell that from the minute you walk through their door.

I think your expectations are very reasonable consiering you've spent $3,000 with MP. Good luck, and let me know if you have any other questions.

i merely raised the possibility that you might be the dick, not brian. it _is_ a possibility, after all. tell us your story. we're listening.

To ask questions, check out products, etc., and have had nothing but positive experiences. I'm planning on that APR exhaust one of these days, and I'll definitely be going to them.

he might not be the friendliest guy in terms of going up to you when you enter the store, but i think that is just his personality, he is quiet and laid back. In fact both Rob and Brian are quiet guys in that regard, i think Steve is the most vocal of the regulars there. Since that place is a candy store for me, i tend to get chatty when there.

In the end i want competent people to work on my car, and to date MP and GRD have been that.

Id recommend you check out GRD (www.grdperformance.com) for another tuner type shop, they even have a dyno there. Tuan and his crew are very friendly, though you are drawing some of the *ahem* young Naperville crowd spending daddy's money. They do healthy WRX work as well there.
