Hello!
I had a little accident last night.
When I was passing by some parked cars on the side of the road (the road is really narrow.) and this woman all the sudden opened the door on her driver's side. I think that she was talking to the girls on the back and opening the door without looking.
Now she is making up this entire stories.
She once said that her door was wide open. If so I should have torn off her door, but her door is slightly slided in. Then, she said that she was getting out of the car to my insurance company, State Farm. The police said that he can't really determine whose fault it is since he wasn't there when the accident took a place. He knew that she was lying anyways...
She doesn't have an insurance so State Farm is covering for the damage on my car. Hit by the door, my car got some dent on the passenger's side body which covers the front wheel. (I have a black Audi TT.)
I have searched for a good bodyshop, and many people in Chicago area recommend for Neat Street in Auroda, IL. State Farm has been recommending Currie Autoshop on Roosevelt Road, Chicago, since it's nearer to my place and affiliated with State Farm.
Since this is my first time having a car accident I don't really know which is smart thing to do here.
Could you share some of your thoughts?
Oh! I have this stereo problem. The fuse keeping blowing. I have taken the car to Fletcher Jones (used to be Loeber in downtown Chicago) and I have paid more thatn $1000 total and made so many visits, and they couldn't get the car fixed. If you have had any kind of similar problems and got fixed could you also tell me some ideas regarding this matter?
Thank you!
