Has anyone else noticed a change in the level of service at the Audi dealership in Chicago since it changed from Loeber to Fletcher Jones? It TOTALLY feels like they just don't care about anyone except their Mercedes customers. I feel like I used to be treated better at the Chrysler dealership when I owned my Jeep. I'm switching to Schaumburg Audi for my service appointments from now on.

It seem that just about all Audi dealers in the area have forgotten who pays thier salaries!

To be honest, if you you're an AW regular, chances are, you'd know more about your car than any of those knuckleheads, who can never duplicate any issue you take your car in for and put 10-15 miles/issue on it in the process.
If you're dealing with the service department, make sure what you take the car in for is accurately documented on the sheet you get back when you pick it up. If it's not, ask them to change it till it's satifactory.
End rant.

It was just for the 10K service, but they did OK. I'd still rather take my car to Fred Lavery in Birmingham, MI. That's not gonna happen now that I'm in NC. Fortunately, there is an Audi dealership nearby and (at least) one of the salespeople is an Audi freak. Their Service staff seemed OK too, but I'll find out later how good their service is.

Another dealer (who I'm since not happy with) once threw me the key to a 225hpTT roadster and didn't come with!

Thought that was pretty rediculous considering that I had it in 4 months ago for the 60k mile service and they said everything was just fine. I don't think I'll ever take it there again. I probably need to get some of the things done, but not for the prices they quoted. Anyone know of a good independant shop in the city?
