Help! I was cruisin to Dayton, OH to check out the Air Force Museum this weekend and got nailed by a speed trap in Indiana. The bastard was sitting in the median at the bottom of a hill. I go flyin past some slo-poke trailer over the hill and wham! Clocks me at only 88 (i though i was doin' more ;) and pulls over the guy behind me too. Makes me wait forever before giving me the ticket. The thing that burns me is he only had old-fashioned radar (as this was outside some po-dunk town) and not laser, so if I had a detector, I might have gotten away. If anyone knows how to get out of it please let me know!

I DO! Where did you get it? What county? I'm on six months for looking out for an Indiana cop car when I should have been keeping an eye out for an Indiana Cop SUV! OHHHHH AREN'T WE COOL NOW! BIG TIME SUV!

It was in the middle of nowhere outside of Knightstown on my way to Ohio. It was a regular cop car (the roads were totally crawling with them!)

you pay more but your insurance doesn't see it. but i don't know if you can get one for 23 over the speed limit but i've done it for at least 15 over. Or you can just try the old "switch court date" technique and hope the cop doesn't show up!

Yeah that's what I did. Cost my like $140 for the damn thing. I was pissed. On top of that I have to not get a ticket for six months... not sure how many I have left to go though.

So, how do I sign up? The ticket has no mention of this program. I would pay a little extra now to save from paying more for insurance.

Alright... whatever county you got pulled over in you need to find its court house. Take the ticket there. Tell the person at the desk of the court house that you were interested in signing up for the differed defender program. A lot of times it won't be on the ticket especially with IN.... those guys are ****s. I know when I got mine in IN I had a mandatory court date and that's when I signed up for the differed payment. So either go to the court house or call em and see what's up with it.

They said either pay the money or go to trial. Since I don't want to make the trek out to BF Indiana, I guess I'll just pay up. Indiana sucks ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!
